IIOJK Srinagar Nov 03, 2020: Four More youth from South Kashmir districts of Pulwama and Shopian have gone missing since the past week. Sources told media that Umer Khanday son of Mushtaq Ahmad Khanday, who is a resident of Tulbagh Pampore Pulwama, Amir Ahmed Mailk son of Abdul Gaffar Mailk from Hadergund Zainapora Shopian, Shahnawaz Ahmad from Sambora Pulwama & Umer Malik From Sugan Shopain are being missing since last week of October this year from their houses. The 16-year-old Umer Mushtaq, who was studying in class 11th went missing from his home in the last week of October, Locals from Tulbagh told to media men. 

IIOJKSrinagar Nov 03, 2020:  A girl was sexually assaulted after being kidnapped in the Akhal area of Devsar in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district on the 31st of October (Saturday). Locals told The Kashmiriyat that the girl (Name withheld), who is a resident of the Pooniwah area in Kulgam had gone to attend a wedding in the area when she was abducted by a group of youth and allegedly assaulted her after that. The youth after assaulting the girl sexually tried to kill her, as per Locals. She was later recovered by a group of locals from the site and rushed to a local hospital in an unconscious condition. The doctors referred her to a Srinagar condition, where she is said to be in a critical condition.

Srinagar, October 22,2020: In Srinagar, the police personnel beat up and arrested several daily-rated workers in Srinagar city in IIOJK. The police authorities foiled protest march and detained scores when hundreds of daily-rated workers engaged in different departments assembled at Srinagar  Municipal Park Srinagar and raised pro-justice, to press for regularization of their jobs.

Srinagar, October 22,2020: The Indian troops  during a cordon and search operation (CASO) arrested two youth in Sopore town today.The  youth were arrested after Indian Army's 22 Rashtriya Rifles launched operation  inTujjer  area of  Sopore in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. 
The Inspector General of Police Kashmir Vijay Kumar talking to media men claimed that after armed freedom activists were encircled by the Indian forces on a tip off surrendered before Police, eventually they surrendered before Police.

Srinagar, October 22, 2020 :Police on Thursday cracked a murder case in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district wherein a woman in connivance with her extramarital partner hanged her husband and passed it as a suicide. 
 

SRINAGAR, Oct 21, 2020: South Asian Women in Media (SAWM) has condemned the sealing of Kashmir Times office in Srinagar by the Jammu and Kashmir administration. According to the statement, The Kashmir Times, edited by SAWM member Anuradha Bhasin, was functioning – like all other regional and national newspapers in J&K — from a government accommodation allotted to it in 1993-94 in Srinagar’s Press Enclave. SAWM condemns efforts to silence the media or put pressure on it in one or another manner.

 تاریخ 20 اکتوبر 2020 سرینگر//جنوبی ضلع شوپیان میں گذشتہ شام سے جاری فوجی آپر یشن کے دوران دو کشمیریوں کو بھارتی فورسز نے جاں بحق کردیا جبکہ بھارتی فورسز آپریشن جاری ہے۔ یہ بھارتی فورسز کو طرف سے آل آوٹ فوجی آ پریشن گذشتہ شام میلہورہ گاوں میں  شروع ہوئی  اوردو شہید ہوئے ہیں جوانوں کی شناخت ہونا باقی ہے۔پولیس نے کہا کہ گاوں میں فورسز کا تلاشی آپریشن جاری ہے۔ آپر یشن اور فائرنگ سے گاﺅں میں خوف و ہراس پھیل گیا ہندوستانی فوجیوں نے جنوبی کشمیر کے پلوامہ ضلع کے حکری پورہ علاقے میں سرچ آپریشن کے دوران دو کشمیریوں کو شہید کردیا۔ مقتول کی شناخت تاحال نہیں ہوسکی ہے۔ مشترکہ کارڈن اور سرچ آپریشن کی قیادت بھارتی فوج کے 50 آر آر اور ایس او جی نے شروع کیا۔

Srinagar, October 20, 2020 : The Indian authorities sealed the office of a prominent daily english news papers office in Sriangar. The Estates Department sealed the office of ‘Kashmir Times’ at Press Enclave in Srinagar, officials said. They, however, gave no reasons for the government action. The English daily is headquartered in Jammu and is published from both the regions of the Territory.The newspaper owners said that no notice of cancellation or eviction was served on them and “nothing in writing” was given to them.“Our office in Srinagar was locked without any due process of law. No notice – whether of cancellation or eviction – was served to us,” Kashmir Times owner Anuradha Bhasin told media men.
