Srinagar, July 31 , 2018: In yet another move against the political detainees, Governor Rule has removed a legal provision that prohibited the shifting and lodging of Kashmiri state subject residents detained under draconian law, Public Safety Act, in jails outside Jammu and Kashmir.
The State Administrative Council (SAC) headed by Governor NN Vohra has cleared the proposal to delete the provision in the black law PSA to make way for sending the Kashmiri political detainees to prisons in India far away from their families.

Srinagar, October 13 : The Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (IMHANS) has treated at least 70,000 people with mental health illnesses this year. The psychiatric disorders are increasing in Kashmir valey due to the unending this conflict, IMHANS said.

Srinagar, Tuesday, June 3rd, 2014 : A young girl was found dead in mysterious conditions in Budgam district on Tuesday.
Panic gripped the Krimshora, village of Khansahab area in Budgam district when the locals found the body of a local young girl.
The local sources told Kashmir Life that she had gone missing since last evening. “She did not return after went out of her residence last evening,” they said adding “today her body was found in the same village.” sourcer Kashmir life
