Srinagar, May 20, 2019: The Jammu Kashmir Coalition of Civil Society and the Association of Parents of Disappeared Persons while releasing a comprehensive report on human rights violations by India have urged the United Nations to establish a commission of inquiry to investigate the brutal torture inflicted by Indian forces in Jammu and Kashmir .
Srinagar, MAY 20,2019: Indian police used brute force and vandalized properties of people during crackdown and arrested a dozen youth at Daharmuna in Budgam district.
Indian forces raided the area in the night and tried to enter into some houses to arrest youths. However, the residents raised alarm, following which the villagers came out and staged protest.
The locals said the Indian forces resorted to vandalism and smashed private vehicles and windowpanes of several houses.
Jammu, Mar 8 2019: The death toll in yesterday's grenade blast at Jammu bus stand mounted to two on Friday after a Kashmir resident succumbed at a hospital. A 32-year-old Mohd Riyaz, a resident of Mattan area of Islamabad (Anantnag) district, who was injured in the blast at the General bus stand, succumbed at a hospital early Friday , said an official.
A 17-year-old youthMohammad Sharik, son of Intezar, a resident of Indian state Uttarakhand was killed in the blast on Thursday, with 33 others injured.

Srinagar: A minor was killed after being hit by a vehicle in old city on Monday.Police has identified the boy as 3-year-old Wasif Qayoom who was walking along with his uncle when a school bus hit him near Shiraz Chowk.
