Srinagar, March  30  : In Srinagar , the High court has quashed the illegal detention of three youth   who were detained under black law, Public Safety Act  (PSA)and directed Police to release them. Justice Rabistan Tashi while terming the detention of Raipora Palhallan youth, Nasir Ahmed Ganie, as illegal, quashed his PSA and directed police to release him.

Srinagar, August 22, 2012: A missing civilian was found murdered under mysterious circumstances in Gandoh in Doda district with people holding protests against the Special Operations Group personnel for the killing.
"The body of the missing man identified as Mushtaq Ali alias Mohammad Issaq, son of Muskeen Ali, resident of village Tainsa Bamo Dhansar Dhadkai, tehsil Gandoh was found near Barsi Dhar area," police said.

Srinagar, Apr 17, 2012: An Indian army officer who abducted and misbehaved a minor girl hailing from Shopian district in south Kashmir was arrested today.

New Delhi, April 0 4, 2012: A new book written by foreign investigative journalists Adrian Levy and Catherine Scott-Clark has said that four foreign tourists abducted from Pahalgam in South Kashmir Islamabad in 1995 were killed by a group of militants-sponsored by Indian army. Now a new book said that they were killed by a group of militants sponsored by the Indian army, writes the Asian Age.

The fate of the four Western tourists abducted in Kashmir in June 1995 has never been known for sure.
