CISF head constable opens fire, killed one civilian in Indian city Kolkata

 Kolkata, Aug 08, 2022: A head constable of the Indian Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) opened fire in the Indian Museum premises killing an assistant sub-inspector and injuring an assistant commandant in Indian city Kolkata on Saturday evening.  The Indian police said that the accused fired at least 15 rounds. He was arrested by the Kolkata Police, the Indian news paper HT said. The victims were rushed to the SSKM hospital where ASI Ranjit Kumar Sarengi died. Subir Ghosh, the assistant commandant suffered bullet injuries on his wrist.  

15-year-old girl gangraped in Indian state Tripura

 AGARTALA, August 8, 2022: A 15-year-old girl has  been gangraped by four youths in Indian state Tripura. The incident has been reported from North Tripura district.  Three of the four accused have been arrested, Tripura police informed on Saturday August 6.

 New Delhi, August 8, 2022: The Indian capital city Delhi witnessed a heart-wrenching incident on May 18 when it was learnt that a 13-year-old girl was gang raped by eight people, including one juvenile, raising questions over the safety of women in the Indian capital. The victim was initially abducted, sedated and then raped by three people. Then they passed her further to another, then another, then another… crossing the limits of humanity. Devastated and traumatised for a week, the girl who went missing on April 24 was found in a despondent state on May 2 at the Saket Metro station. 

Indian paramilitary officer rapes teen girl in Sikkim

 Gangtok, August 08, 2022:  An officer of the Indian paramilitary Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) has been arrested by the police in Indian state Sikkim for raping a 13-year-old girl. The ITBP officer, posted in Sikkim, raped the minor girl multiple times at his quarters, following which she became pregnant.The incident has been reported from Rangpo town in Pakyong district of Sikkim.

 Patna, India : The RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav  has said that RSS is dangerous for the society and the country, and whatever the police officer had said is completely true. “The RJD is saying right from the beginning that the RSS is a threat to the country. At present, whatever the poisonous and hatred spread in the society is only due to the RSS. It is in the agenda of RSS,” the Leader of Opposition in the Bihar Assembly said July 15, 2022.“Patna SSP Manavjeet Singh Dhillon has rightly described the RSS. The BJP is demanding his termination but I would say that he must be congratulated for his effort to prevent a big incident,” he said.

Indian Govt Stops Teaching Pakistani Author’s Books In Aligarh Muslim University

 Aligarh , August 2 :  The management committee of the Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) after the order of  BJP government  has decided to exclude the books written by Pakistani and Egyptian authors from the syllabus. 
 
The books, written by Islamic scholar and prominent writer Abu al-A’la al-Mawdudi and Egyptian writer Sayyid Qutb, were taught in the Department of Islamic Studies to the BA and MA students in Aligarh Muslim University in Indian state Utter Pardash.

Indian soldier dies of severe head injuries in Srinagar

 Srinagar, August 02 : Indian soldier died in Srinagar city. The soldier Lalaiah (34)  died due to head injury in Hyderabad area of the  Srinagar city in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
He was said to have died of severe head injuries. The family members have left for Hyderabad to receive the dead body of the deceased soldier, said an Indian official to media men.

Occupied Kashmir HC quashes PSA detention of 2 persons

Srinagar, August 02:  The High Court has  quashed detention  of two persons under black under Public Safety Act(PSA) in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. A bench of Justice Sanjay Dhar quashed the detention orders of Zubair Ashraf Khan and Aurang Zab Khan and ordered immediate release of them.

Maulana Salman Nadwi opposes call to ban PFI

Lucknow , August 2: The Lucknow-based Islamic cleric Salman Nadwi has opposed the call to ban Popular Front of India (PFI). This comes in the wake of All India Sufi Sajjadanashin Council’s (AISSC’s) at the behest of National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, a few days ago, is a part of the Modi’s anti-Muslim plan at the Constitution Club in New Delhi  demanded  to disallow functioning of the PFI in India.
