Indian CRPF Trooper molest a teenager student girl in Srinagar

Srinagar, April 17,2011: A 7th standard school student was molested by a Indian paramilitary Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) trooper at Door Darshan Kendra (DDK) in Srinagar on Sunday when she was going to participate in a programme for children.

Sources within DDK while talking to media men said a student (name withheld) of Kashmir Havard School Malabagh was on way to participate in a weekly programme for children when a CRPF trooper followed her and molested here in the wash room.

Indian trooper molested a girl in Doda

Srinagar. April 14, 2011: An Indian trooper abducted and molested a girl of Doda district. A Territorial Army of 159-battalion has been detained for raping a girl at Marmat in the district. Acting on the complaint of the girl, resident of Marmat village in Doda police has detained Ashish Kumar, a soldier of 159 battalion of TA on Tuesday.

Justice eluding Sopore family for past one year

Srinagar, April 11: Despite orders from a chief judicial magistrate, the Sopore police is refusing to file a First Information Report (FIR) in the death of 16-year-old Zubair-ul-Hassan Bhat who drowned while being chased by violent police and paramilitary forces during last year’s unrest, the victim’s father said.
Despite the court orders, the police are refusing to register a case in the incident, which took place on April 13, a year ago.
