Sharjeel imam denied bail in black law UAPA riots case

NEW DELHI ,April 12: The  Delhi court  has denied bail to JNU student activist Sharjeel Imam in a black law UAPA, case related to the February 2020 north-east Delhi riots, in which several other students and activists are charged on fake cases. The order was passed by Additional Sessions Judge Amitabh Rawat, days after bail was denied to activists like Shifa-ur-Rehman, Meeran Haider and Umar Khalid in the same fake case.

Hindutva Saffron flag planted on Bihar Mosque in India

 Patna , 12th April : The Hindutva goons  planted a Hindutva saffron flag on top of a Mosque and its gate in Indian state Bihar. A video of the incident is in wide circulation, showing Hindutva men thumping the air in jubilation and cheering the man atop the wall of a mosque and  also planted a saffron flag on top of its gate in Bihar’s Muzaffarpur on the occasion of Ram Navami.

 NEW DELHI ,April 12:  The Sunday was a tense day where Muslims were attacked and terrorized by the Hindutva RSS, BJP, Banjrang Dal and VHP crowds   and marched through Muslim streets amid objectionable slogans and war cries  under the watch of the Indian police authorities in Indian states including Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, West Bengal, Goa. 

US Monitoring Rise In Human Rights Abuses In India: Antony Blinken

 Washington April 12: US Secretary of State Antony Blinken has said that the United States was monitoring  a rise in human rights abuses in India by some officials, in a rare direct rebuke by Washington of New Delhi.  "We regularly engage with our Indian partners on these shared values (of human rights) and to that end, we are monitoring some recent concerning developments in India including a rise in human rights abuses by some government, police and prison officials," Mr Blinken said in a joint press briefing with US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin,  Indian Foreign Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar and  Indian Defense Minister Rajnath Singh.

 Srinagar, April 12 : The BJP regime has put PDP President  and People's Alliance for Gupkar Declaration (PAGD leader, Mehbooba Mufti  under house arrest at her residence in Srinagar, in  Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. Mehbooba Mufti was placed under house arrest right before she could visit the  family of Kashmiri Pandit at Harmain Shopian who was recently attacked by unknown gunmen.

 Srinagar, 10 Apr 2022: Indian troops martyred two youth in Srinagar city, today. The two youth were killed by Indian paramilitary Central Reserve Police Force during cordon and search operation on Sunday at Beshembar Nagar area of Srinagar city.

Siddaramaiah, 63 Others in Indian state Karnataka Get Death Threats

 BENGALURU, April10, 2022: The opposition Congress and JD(S) have blamed ruling BJP for these developments and said that it is aiding and abetting Hindutva organisations to create unrest in society in southern Indian state Karnatka.  — As many as 64 persons, including Karnataka Opposition leader Siddaramaiah, former Chief Minister Kumaraswamy and famous progressive litterateur K. Hindutva priest who threatened to rape Muslim women publicly booked in UP

 Lucknow, News Desk 10 Apr 2022: The Indian state Uttar Pradesh Hindutva priest, who  delivered a hate speech against Muslim community and made a rape threat, has been booked, quoting police news agency PTI reported. Bajrang Muni Das, the mahant of the Maharshi Shri Lakshman Das Udasin Ashram in Khairabad town, made the speech and threat on April 2 and the video of it surfaced on social media platforms on Thursday.

Hindutva Vigilantes Vandalise Watermelon Pushcarts of Muslim Vendor in Karnataka

Bangeluru, April 10, 2022: The Hindutva vigilantes vandalized pushcarts of Muslim watermelon vendor  for doing business in the Dharwad district of Karnataka. Members of Sri Ram Sene smashed and threw dozens of watermelons onto the ground, destroying them completely who was doing business outside a Hanuman temple.
