Treatment of Indian Muslims has Echoes from the Holocaust: Says Genocide Expert

WASHINGTON, D.C.,April 30, 2022: The founder and Executive Director of World Without Genocide, Dr Ellen Kennedy, during a Congressional Briefing in Washington warned that the Indian government is gearing up for genocide of Muslims similar to the Holocaust through discriminatory policies and acts of state-sponsored violence. Drawing parallels between the Indian government’s policies of forced statelessness for Muslims and Nazi Germany’s Nuremberg laws, she stated that India’s growing Hindu extremist movement had created anti-Muslim hate with official support and impunity for anti-Muslim violence.

 Srinagar, April 28 : Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred two youth including an engineering student in Pulwama district, today, iIn Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir,. 
The youth including  an engineering student Aijaz Ahmed were martyred by the troops  and paramilitary forces during a cordon and search operation in Mitrigam area of the district.

Journalists being punished for not praising Govt: Omar

 Srinagar, April 28 :  The National Conference President, Omar Abdullah  has said that journalists are being punished for not praising the Modi regime in  Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. Talking to reporters, Omar said, “The government should first do something to earn praise then expect the scribes to write it. Religious Freedom in India Worsens Significantly: US Panel

WASHINGTON ,April 27 : A US commission  has said that religious freedom has deteriorated “significantly” in India under the Hindutva BJP-RSS government as it again recommended targeted sanctions over abuses. It was the third straight year that the US Commission on International Religious Freedom asked that India be placed on a list of “countries of particular concern”.

Over 100 former bureaucrats write to Narendar Modi on ‘politics of hate' to end

 New Delhi, April 27: More than 100 Indian former civil servants have written an open letter to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, calling for an end to “politics of hate”  practised “assiduously” by governments under the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). 
The former bureaucrats said in this year of “Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav”, Modi will hopefully rise above “partisan considerations” and call an end to the aforementioned practice.
