Srinagar, September 18: Two days after noted religious clerics, Moulana Abdul Rasheed Dawoodi, Mushtaq Ahmad Veeri  and several Jamaat-e-Islami leaders were booked under black law, Public Safety AcT, now another popular religious preacher Sarjan Barkati has been arrested in Shopian district.

New Delhi, September 18, 2022: The Indian  administration in  Jamia Millia New Delhi has banned research scholar and activist Safoora Zargar from entering the university campus, days after her MPhil admission was canceled in the university. Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, which is under the influence of Hindutva BJP-RSS governmnet.

Islamabad,18 September: Pakistan strongly condemns the arbitrary arrests and illegal detention of prominent Islamic scholars, including Maulana Abdul Rasheed Dawoodi, Maulana Mushtaq Ahmed Veeri and five members of Jamaat-e-Islami, in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).  The Ministry of Foreign Affairs Office of the Spokesperson in a press statment said, these deplorable actions only days ahead of the UN General Assembly session manifest India’s growing intransigence, and utter disregard of human rights and fundamental freedoms.

Jammu, September 16 : A mysterious explosion took place outside the house of a District Development Council member in Poonch district in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. The explosion took place outside the house of DDC member Sohail Malik in which a vecicle of the member was damaged in Surankote area of the district.

Mandi (Poonch),15 Sep, 2022: The dilapidated condition of roads, worn-out passenger vehicles, and administrative apathy towards violation of rules have claimed 22 lives in 46 accidents in Mandi tehsil of Poonch district in the past two years in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. The locals said that the administration has failed to put in place any preventive strategy to check the loss of lives in road accidents in this treacherous area of the Poonch district.

New Delhi, September 15, 2022: Muslims made up almost 30% of all detainees in Indian prisons in 2021, despite the community having a demographic percentage of only 14.2%. (as of 2011). 

 Bhopal : ,September 15, 2022: Anti- Muslim violence has come to light from Udaipura town in Raisen district Madhya Pradesh in India, during the Ganesh idol immersion procession. The incident took place on the night of September 10, 2022. A Ganesh idol immersion procession stopped at a Muslim locality, playing loud music with provocative  and anti Muslim songs which triggered violence.

 NEW DELHI, September 15, 2022: The Indian Home Ministry has dismissed an Indian Police Service officer, Satish Chandra Verma, who had assisted the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in its investigation into the fake encounter case of Ishrat Jahan, a month before he was scheduled to retire. 

 Lucknow, September 15, 2022: Political parties led by Muslims in Indian state Uttar Pradesh will now launch a campaign and mobilise people to oppose a survey of madrassas. The parties that are a part of this initiative include the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM), Peace Party and Rashtriya Ulama Council.

 Lucknow, September 15: The BJP government in Indian state Uttar Pradesh has suspended the Joint Director (Health), who had issued an order directing all the Chief Medical Officers (CMOs) to ensure that signboards/nameplates at all health facilities in the state, were written in Urdu as well. 
A senior Health Department officer confirmed that Joint Director (Health), Tabassum Khan had been suspended.
