 Srinagar, August 17, 2014: Police personnel of Special Operation Group (SOG) barged into the houses of Muhammad Anwar Da  and Muhammad Yousuf and started mercilessly beating all inmates including women and a 5-year old girl. The cops also beat up all everyone who came in their way, eyewitnesses said.

Five youth including two brothers tortured by Indian Army in Lolab Kupwara

Srinagar, 2 Aug 2014: The physical torture committed by Indian Army on five locals of Lolab Valley including two brothers sparked protest at Harden Lolab area of Kupwara. The victims said that the  Indian Army officer offered them cash to keep their mouth shut. Harden Siver Lolab Residents are mulling migration following torture of six men  by Army’s 18 RR on next day of Eid-ulfitr.Locals of Harden Lolab told media men  that Indian Army personnel from 18 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) deployed at Kuligam and Warnav camp have let loose a reign of terror in the Lolab Valley. They said that Army personnel harasses, detains and even tortures the people on one or the other pretext.
The victims identified as 11th standard student Javid Ahmad Sheikh son of Sheeren Sheikh ,Bashir Ahmad Malla, 27year old, son of Abdul Rehman, Mushtaq Ahmad Malla son of Abdul Rashid Mala, Muhammad Ashiq Malla, 35-year old, son of Abdul Rashid Mala, Nazir Ahmad Malla, 37 year old, son of  Habibullah Malla, 37 year old, Shah Wali Moughal, 45 year old, son of Mir Wali- all labourers by profession  residents of Harden Lolabsaid that an Army officer offered them money to keep mum.

Police thrashes senior doctor in Srinagar

 Srinagar, 2 Aug 2014: A doctors' group in Jammu and Kashmir Saturday has said the police of thrashing a senior doctor while he was on his way to a hospital as restrictions were imposed in Kashmir amid a shutdown. 
President Doctors Association Kashmir (DAK) Dr Nisar ul Hassan in a statement condemned the thrashing of a senior medico by police.

Indian army shot dead a Businessman in Jammu

JAMMU, July 8, 2014: Indian army personnel killed a businessman  at Ward No 12, RS Pura in Jammu.
As per police sources, Indian Army man of Sikh JAK LI namely Manjeet Singh, son of Surjeet Singh of village Shatrian, RS Pura along with his brother Sonu, Territorial Army (TA) trooper Deepak Singh, son of Ramesh Singh, resident of same village and one unidentified person barged into the shop of businessman Vinod Sharma (23), son of Tirth Ram at Ward No 12, RS Pura and enquired about his brother Anil Kumar.
