JAMMU, July 8, 2014: Indian army personnel killed a businessman at Ward No 12, RS Pura in Jammu.
As per police sources, Indian Army man of Sikh JAK LI namely Manjeet Singh, son of Surjeet Singh of village Shatrian, RS Pura along with his brother Sonu, Territorial Army (TA) trooper Deepak Singh, son of Ramesh Singh, resident of same village and one unidentified person barged into the shop of businessman Vinod Sharma (23), son of Tirth Ram at Ward No 12, RS Pura and enquired about his brother Anil Kumar.
A verbal dual took place and in a fit of rage, Indian army men shot at Vinod Sharma with a gun, leading to his on spot death.
The forces managed to escape from the spot in cars and motorcycles, but Sikh JAK LI Manjeet Singh was apprehended by the locals after a chase.
