Srinagar, Thursday, April 27th, 2017: A defenseless Kashmiri was killed and several others were injuried after Indian forces fire on unarmed people during protest in Panzgam village of Kupwara.
The local were demanding body of two youth who were killed by Indian army during a clash   in front of Indian Army camp . However, reports said that,  Indian Army fired on the protesters resulting in the killing one person and injuries to alteast ten people. Most of them are bullet hit.

Internet services banned in Kashmir Valley for one month, IFJ expresses serious concern

Srinagar, Thursday, April 27th, 2017:  The authorities imposed ban on 22 social media sites, mobile phone messengers and video-uploading sites in Kashmir for at least a period of one month. The ban has been imposed in the backdrop of unending protests led by youth, particularly students, in their teens and early twenties. The banned social media include Facebook, Twitter, Whatsapp and Skype.

 Srinagar, Feb 23, 2017:  Students of Kashmir University, today, staged protest against custodial disappearance of a law student Aqir Malik. The 3rd semester law student Aqir Malik on  14th Feb, 2017  raised voice against the innocent killings during a protest organized by the student in the University camps. The student was receiving threats by Indian intelligence agencies.
