July 20, 2016:  Three pellet injuried children identified as eight-year-old Asif Rashid of Khanbal; 13-year-old Arafat Shafi of Dantar and 14-year-old Wasiq Farooq of Dantar were critically injured after Indian forces used pellet gun at Khanabal in Islamabad on Tuesday evening Jul 19 2016:.

On July 18, 2016, Indian army's 9/Rashtriya Rifles opened fire on peaceful protesters at Qazigund-Kulgam road killed three civilians including two women identified as Syeda Begum, 55,(mother of three children) w/o Ghulam Hasan Mir and Neelofar Akhter, 32 (survived by four children), w/o Mohammad Musuf Shah, both residents of Churat, Khargund Qazigund.
Syeda’s 22-year old daughter Noori and Neelofar Akhter's kid is among the injured and has been hospitalized.
According to reports from SMHS hospital, scores of women with pellet injuries include an elderly woman, Mughli Begum of Bijbehara, and two sisters from South Kashmir are admitted.
