Srinagar, January 13, 2022 Tight security arrangements have been made ahead of January 26 Indian offficial celebrations later this month in Kashmir Valley in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
A senior police officer told media men that security has been beefed across the Kashmir valley ahead of Indian Republic DayJanuary 26 official celebrations with forces keeping a tight vigil in areas of Srinagar and adjoining areas.
He claimed the situation in the Valley has improved as compared to the past few years. The latest technology including induction of ‘Black Panther’ Command Control Vehicles and CCTV cameras has helped us to monitor the situation closely in the City,” he added.
The Indian military authorities have set up huge makeshift bunkers to keep monitor daily life of people and the visitors, a local police officer said.
Earlier the Indian police Inspector General of Police Vijay Kumar chaired a security review meeting ahead of Republic Day with deputy inspectors general of the various ranges, Senior Superintendents of Police and other officers.
On the other hand, the Indian troops and paramilitary forces launched Cordon and Search Operations (CASOs) in several areas of Shopian and Jammu districts.
Meanwhile, the notorious Indian agency National Investigation Agency (NIA) raided a residential house of a private teacher Farooq Ahmad and arrested him in Pulwama district. The dreaded agency also seized documents and mobile phone of the vicitm. agencies
