Srinagar, February 20: The Indian Army has launched a massive operation in the Rajouri district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. The Indian Army launched a cordon-and-search operation (CASO) in Sunderbani and other areas of Rajouri district following reports of suspicious movement by unidentified individuals in the area. Indian Army officials claimed that, based on intelligence inputs and sustained surveillance, suspicious movement of militants was detected in the general area of Nathua Tibba, Sunderbani, along the Line of Control (LoC) during the early hours of February 19, 2026.
The officials further said that troops launched a ground operation along with aerial surveillance in the area.
Meanwhile, reports suggest that an Indian Army camp was attacked in the area, resulting in the killing of four Indian Army personnel, while several others were critically injured.
A video circulating on social media, allegedly featuring an Indian Army officer, claims that several troops were killed.
