Four Muslims killed by Hindutva in Hate Crimes across India

New Delhi, March 10 :In a disturbing series of incidents across India, four Muslims from different states ruled by BJP have been killed within the span of just one week, raising serious concerns about communal violence and targeted attacks. The victims, ranging from a 13-year-old boy, a woman came from different regions and backgrounds, underscoring the wide impact of the violence. 

Unaiz Khan (13), Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh (BJP ruled state)— March 2, 2026
Thirteen-year-old Unaiz Khan was shot dead in Lucknow after reportedly being invited by a friend. According to reports, Unaiz was observing a fast when he was shot in the middle of his forehead. The accused has been identified as the nephew of Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak.
Roshan Khatoon (65), Madhubani, Bihar(BJP ruled state)—  — March 4, 2026
Roshan Khatoon, a 65-year-old woman from Bihar’s Madhubani district, was beaten to death after approaching the Hindutva Hindu village head to seek help in resolving a local dispute. Reports say she was tied to a pole, assaulted, and forced to drink alcohol and cow urine while she was fasting. The brutal nature of the incident has drawn condemnation from rights groups and community leaders.
Abdus Salam (65), Darbhanga, Bihar (BJP ruled state)—  — March 6, 2026
In another incident in Bihar, Abdus Salam, a 65-year-old resident of Darbhanga district of Bihar state, was lynched after he reportedly tried to stop a group of young men from using communal slurs. Witnesses said the Hindutva Hindu group then attacked him with iron rods, causing fatal injuries. The incident has renewed concerns about rising mob violence and intolerance.
Aamir (28), Palla, Haryana (BJP ruled state)— — March 7, 2026
Aamir, a 28-year-old truck driver from Palla in Haryana state, was shot dead by Hindutva group of cow vigilantes while traveling toward Rajasthan state. Members associated with the Hindutva Bajrang Dal intercepted his vehicle, alleged him of cow smuggling, and opened fire after stopping the truck.
The killings, affecting both men and women across four different age groups, have triggered widespread outrage by Civil society groups and activists.
