Srinagar,IIOJK: , Nov 22, 2021 The authorities haves terminated four teachers from their the services in Kashmir valley.The Director of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) in four separate orders said that the employees were found absent unauthorizedly and their services were removed. These include Alka Tak (Middle School Moran Tangwari, Baramulla), Rubeena Kakroo (Middle School, Pir Mohalla, Baramulla), Waseem Gull, (boys high Schol Nunner, Ganderbal) and Ajay Bhat, (High School, Dalwach Islamabad).
According to one of the DSEK orders, a teacher Alka Tak remained unauthorizedly absent from her legitimate duties with immediate effect from September-25-2015. The Alka Tak Teacher, MS Moran Tangwari, Baramulla remained unauthorizedly absent from her legitimate duties w.e.f 25/09/2015, the order said. humn
“The teacher was provided enough opportunities to resume her duties, which she failed to do so; and the issue was placed before the designated committee in its meeting held on 07/06/2021,” it reads.
It also states that after examining the case, the committee decided to initiate a process for termination of her service being unauthorizedly absent from her legitimate duties and has completed more than 05 years continuous absence.
“Pursuant to the decision passed by the Designated Committee, a final show cause notice was served to the absconding teacher in September-2021 wherein she was asked to explain as to why action was warranted,” it reads.
According to the government order, the teacher replied to the said notice in a weeks’ time and on its examination, it was found unsatisfactory and unsubstantiated.
Similarly, three other teachers were also removed from the services for remaining absent unauthorizedly, the order reads.
After five years of continuous absence on leave Rubeena Kakroo Teacher MS Pir Mohalla, BaramuIIa is hereby removed from Government service . Waseem Gull, Teacher, BHS Nunner District Ganderbal remained unauthorizedly absent from duties w.e.f. 03/03/2014; and terminated from the service, whereas, Ajay Bhat, Teacher, HS Dalwach District Islamabad was appointed in the Department on 27/06/2018 and remained unauthorizedly absent from his legitimate duties w.e.f 09/03/2019 without completion of his probation period; and is hereby removed from the service of the state , the orders said.
Meanwhile, two girl students of Central University of Kashmir (CUK), hailing from Poonch district were found unconscious at their rented room in Saloora area of Ganderbal district.
Both students were shifted to District Hospital Ganderbal where doctors declared one among them as dead, who was identified as Shabnaz while another identified as Ziyaan was shifted to SKIMS Srinagar the officials said.
Station House Officer (SHO) Gulzar Ahmad confirmed the incident said that the condition of the second girl is stable.Officials said that the incident is likely to have happened because of suffocation; however, further investigation in this regard has been taken up.
On the other hand, a minor girl identified as Neha Devi (12) died and five other members of the family were critically injured when a Maruti car, they were travelling in, rolled down into a deep gorge at Dhama Bridge, near Barnara in Khoon, under the jurisdiction of Majalta Police Station in Udhampure district.
The injured were identified as Balwant Singh (43), his wife Sushma Devi (36), their daughter Shivani Devi (14); Surinder Singh (40), son of Madan Singh of Khoon and his wife Reva.Some locals rushed to the spot and shifted the injured persons to District Hospital Udhampur where one of them was declared as brought dead.
