26 Rohingyas, traveling from occupied Kashmir, detained in Indian state Assam

 Guwahati ,  May 30 : The Assam Police have detained 26 Myanmar nationals after they entered the in Assam state. 26 Myanmar police reached in states capital Guwahati in a train from Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir .The Assam police arrested them when they entered into the  Silchar city in a car.

Most Rohingya had fled Myanmar due to persecution. Many of them are suspected to have taken refuge occupied ammu and Kashmir, from where they eventually moved to Delhi and then towards Assam.
Police  claimed they believe the 26 Rohingya who they have detained may have been trying to enter Bangladesh  from either southern Assam or Tripura.
