Srinagar, March 30, 2021: Indian police arrested nine youth in Sheeri area of Baramulla district in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, on Monday late-evening . Senior Superintendent of police (SSP) Baramulla, Rayees Ahmad told media men that nine boys from Shopian district were detained by police after noticing them in suspicious condition. He said that all the nine have been detained from Sheeri area of Baramulla, adding that after proper verification and antecedents check all the detained boys will be released.
The boys were on tour to the area while Indian police detained them which proves that Kashmiris are under heavy prison in their own soil which is very highly concerned to the people of Kashmir, said a analyst in Srinagar, adding that it is eye opener to all that Kashmir is an Indian army and police state.
A municipal councillor injured in an attack in Sopore on Monday succumbed to his injuries , taking death toll to three in the attack. The councilor Shams-ud-din Peer, who was wounded in the attack on municipal councillors in Sopore town, succumbed to his injuries on the intervening night of Monday and Tuesday at SMHS hospital in Srinagar. Earlier, a municipal councillor and a personal police officer were killed when the attack happened in the meeting room of Municipal Council Sopore .
Another Indian paramilitary Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) Constable, who was injured in a clashin Lawaypora area of Srinagar last week, succumbed to injuries at hospital in Srinagar on Monday, taking the number of the paramilitary men killed in the attack to three, official said. Two CRPF personnel—a sub-Inspector and a constable (driver) of CRPF’s were killed and as many others were injured in a broad day light clash at on Thursday last. The Mujahideen had also snatched an Ak-47 rifle from the CRPF personnel.
On the other hand, a an Indian Central Reserve Police Force Shankar Nath from Indian state Karnataka strangled his wife to death at their rented house in Nagbal, Sherbagh in Islamabad district . Meanwhile, two motorcyclists were killed in a road accident at Muthi Morh in Kathua district.
An airplane-shaped balloon with ‘PIA’ written on it was found in Poonch district .The balloon was found near Indian Border Security Force Camp in Achhad Mankote area of the district, SDPO Mendhar Z A Jafri told media men.
This is for the fourth time recently that the Airplane-shaped balloon with PIA written on it has been found in Jammu region. On three occasions it was found in Jammu district. PIA stands for Pakistan International Airlines while the balloon was shaped exactly in the form of airplane with windows and doors painted on green and while background.
