Indian forces used brute force

Srinagar, Dec 7, 2016:  Indian forces used brute force and fired pellets, teargass shells on protesters in Murran area of Pulwama district Wednesday afternoon. Locals said that police tried to foil a pro-freedom rally ‘Muraan Chalo’ resulting in clashes. They said that forces raided the venue of the rally and youth pelted stones on forces deployed in strength in the area.
Police have  also arrested at least nine youth during a nocturnal raid in  Muran and Rahmoo areas of the district.
Indian forces launched a massive search operation in Anzawala village of Islamabad district Wednesday morning. Locals said that heavy contingents of Indian Army, Police and CRPF personnel have cordoned off the area and are searching residential houses. Situated on the banks of Lidder Nalla, Anzawala is around four kilometers from district headquarters Islamabad.
