Indian Army Soldier Killed, 2 Injured In Ganderbal Road accident, Indian army Major, JCO among 3 injured in mine blast in Poonch

 Srinagar, April 30, 2022 :  An Indian army soldier was killed and two others were injured when an Indian army vehicle they were travelling in met with an accident at Gadribal Ganiwan area of Ganderbal on Saturday. 

News agency KNO quoting official sources that the Indian army bus was vehicle part of a convoy that turned turtle near Masjid Mode Sumbal Bala Gund area of Kangan.
In the accident, one soldier died on the spot death while two soldiers were injured. Both the injured were shifted to hospital and are under treatment, an official said.
Meanwhile,  an Indian army Major and a Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO) were among three Indian Army personnel injured in a mine blast on the Line of Control (LoC) in Krishna Ghati sector of Poonch district .
They have been identified as Major Gurung, JCO Naib Subedar Dalbir Singh and Havaldar Hukam Singh.
They were immediately evacuated from the spot and shifted to Command Hospital in Udhampur. Sources said it was an own mine which exploded on the LoC as soldiers stepped over it. Earlier also, a mine explosion had occurred on the LoC.
Meanwhile, police have arrested another person from Tral in Pulwama district of South Kashmir in a fake case.
