Srinagar, March 2016 Youths of Kashmir have been compelled to take to the violent means of expressing their dissent. Since 2008, a forceful wave of mass agitation emerged in the Kashmir valley after the youths were pushed to the wall when the Indian police and other paramilitary forces cracked down on those youth who came out on the streets to make their voices heard. Many such boys lost their lives since then after the police and CRPF personnel fired live bullets directly on the unarmed youth and peaceful protesters. It resulted in the form of a growing cycle where despite all repressive means by the Indin armed forces, thousands of youth demand freedom staging protests and shouting Go India Go. Such a story is of a youth from Baramula, who voiced from freedom since 2008 when his friend was shot dead by the Indian CRPF personnel in unprovoked firing. Abid Salaam reports from Baramula.
