Family approaches HC for FIR registration of 2010 Pulwama killing

Srinagar, December 27, 2011:  A victim family has approached to the High Court for compensation and registration of an FIR against the Indian troopers who killed the father of two sons in Pampore area.

After six months of the death of Abdul Rashid Reshi's, the widow, Sara and two children approached High Court on December 27, Tuesday for compensation and registration of an FIR against the Indian troopers. Reshi died in June 11, 2011 after remaining in deep coma for over nine months. He was hit by a bullet fired by Indian Central Reserve police Force personnel on peaceful protesters of Samboora village of Pampore on August 05, 2010.

Sara is unable to educate of her two minor children.
