Srinagar, January 12: The witnesses in the 12th class student of Boniyar killing case has that the Indian Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel opened fire on people without any provocation.
A student Altaf Ahmad Sood was killed in the CISF firing and two others were injured when CISF forces fired on people protesting against frequent power cuts sparking large-scale protests in Uri area of Baramulla on January 2.
Several key witnesses in the Boniyar killing case have appeared on January 11 before the inquiry officer appointed by the regime led by Omar Abdullah and recorded their statements. The evidences produced by the witnesses were in the form of photographs and mobile phone clips taken at the time of the incident.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Baramulla Manzoor Ahmad Qadri, is probing the death of a youth in CISF firing in Boniyar Uri. “The three witnesses told the Inquiry Officer that the CISF personnel opened fire on people without any provocation,” reports said.
Meanwhile Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Bashir Ahmad Bhat told KNS that some people recorded their statements with the inquiry officer today. He said that inquiry officer will continue to record the statements till January 15. The ADC is supposed to submit the report within 15 days.
