Two civilian killed, 2 injured in indian army firing on car in Budgam Kashmir

Srinagar,  Monday, 3 Nov 2014  :  Indian troops  fired at a civilian vehicle  Maruti car  killed two Kashmiri civilians  and critically injured two other youths or civiians  in Budgam district, today. 
Two civilians identifed as Faizal and Mehraj were critically injured and died in a  Hospital in Srinagar, while the other two Zahid and Shakeel were reportedly battling for life in the hospital's critical care facility.  
Indian troopers of 53 Rashtriya Rifles opened fire on their car in Chattergam area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Monday evening, police said. Police have registered a case and launched an investigation into the shooting incident. Massive protests have erupted in the area against the killing of youth. 
Earlier, an Indian army spokesman Col Brijesh Pandey had  claimed the deceased were Army personnel.
"Soldiers at the check post in Chattergam area fired at the fleeing vehicle, which resulted in bullet injuries to four occupants," a police source told media men.
The incident took place at the same spot where two years ago, an  Indian Army team had allegedly killed two its soldiers and injured three others in a case of "mistaken identity"
