Srinagar, May 12, 2019: Indian forces detained over two dozen people in Pulwama and Budgam districts.
The police arrested as many as two dozen youth during house raids in Rathsuna village of Tral in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district .A police official said these persons were detained on the charge of holding protest demonstrations.
Indian forces on May 10 arrested three brothers during a raid at Cherawani near Charar-e-Sharief in Budgam . The forces’ personnel arrested and beat them identified as Muzaffar Ahmed Dar, Irfan Ahmed Dar and Touseef Ahmed Dar.
Meanwhile, the communal Indian police personnel arrested five Kashmiri drivers for transporting bovine from Poonch area of Jammu to the Kashmir valley.
A police party intercepted at different places five vehicles which were on their way to the Kashmir valley carrying 50 animals.
