His brother, Mudasir, who lived with Ishtiaq, said: “We sent few boys to police station Mohali Punjab in order to seek help from police, but, instead of helping, Indian policemen chased them with sticks.”

Farooq said that they spoke to abductors on phone and said: “They had purchased new SIM card in Mohali and we managed to get the number. They told us that we are from Pattan.”
Suspecting Indian security agencies of abducting his son, Farooq said, “I fear security agencies may have taken him. I appeal them If they have taken him for questioning, don’t kill him, tell us where is he?” “I am not daring to approach higher authorities, I fear, agencies can do anything,” he said. source Kashmir dispatch Srinagar
