4 injured as avalanche hits vehicle in Kupwara

Srinagar,March 21 : Four persons were injured in an avalanche in Kupwara district in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. Four were injured and at least eight persons including four females were rescued after a vehicle they were travelling in was hit by an avalanche  at Sadhna Top in Tangdhar area of the district.The injured were rushed to a hospital for treatment, the official added.
 
On the other hand, four residential houses were gutted in a fire at Ganai Mohalla in Kupwara district on Monday.One personnel of the department, Gulzar Ahmad, was also injured while dousing the flames, the official said. A police official told media that cause of fire was not known.
 
Meanwhile, residents of Labloth, Dangam and Khoda in Khari tehsil in Ramban district are up in arms against the puppet regime for its failure to construct a bridge to connect these villages with the main land.
